April 15 - 16 - Salmon Recovery Funding Board Salmon Habitat Conference: A Decade of Salmon Recovery (Little Creek Casino Resort, Shelton, WA)
http://www.rco.wa.gov/srfb/conference.htm; http://www.rco.wa.gov/srfb/registration.htm - REGISTRATION ENDS MARCH 31st!!
The Salmon Recovery Funding Board has been funding successful projects since 1999. This decade of salmon recovery marks a time to pause and reflect upon the past ten years of recovery work, to consider what has worked, what is not working, and how to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of projects. Out of this reflection, the conference also will offer an opportunity to envision the next decade and beyond of salmon recovery work. This year’s conference has expanded to offer you two full days of learning opportunities from experts in salmon recovery. Through project presentations, panels, and technical workshops, you will have a chance to listen to specialists and meet with your peers, hear their stories, and share information on how to build higher quality salmon projects. A variety of exhibitors will provide information about salmon recovery work. You also can bring your questions to help desks on permitting, billing, and cultural resources issues. Networking opportunities will be available throughout the day, including a dinner and networking event Wednesday evening. Cost: $80 for two days, meals included
