OSU Alum?

Many of you have inquired about getting more involved with additional Career Development events with OSU students. To address this interest we are offering the opportunity for you to present in workshop(s) to students in smaller groups. These activities are a great way to meet and interact with students in a more personal setting. They are scheduled for the few days leading up to the Spring 2009 Career & Internship Fair on April 29th.(We'd love to have you there. Registration is open for the fair at https://oregonstate-csm.symplicity.com/events/Sp09CareerIntern)

Additionally, on Monday April 20th, we are having our Spring 2009 Networking and Dining Etiquette event starting at 5:00 PM. This is a great venue to assist our students as a mentor during the hour-long tutorial on “how to be successful during a social hour” and/or to sponsor a table of 8-10 students (for a fee of $250 per table) for the dining and etiquette portion of the evening where students learn how to successfully navigate a four-course menu while learning to interact professionally with a table host/sponsor. This event typically receives rave reviews from students.

Lastly, door prizes have always been a big hit with our students who attend the Career Fairs. Your gift donation(s) are graciously accepted and very much appreciated.

If you’d like to be more involved with our students and the Career Development program at Oregon State University please follow the link below and complete the participation survey of our Spring 2009 activities—we will contact you to verify scheduling and/or sponsorship. https://surveys.bus.oregonstate.edu/BsgSurvey2_0/main.aspx?SurveyID=2978

If you have questions about these exciting opportunities, please contact Adry Clark at: 541-737-0519 or email: adry.clark@oregonstate.edu

We appreciate your support of OSU students and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Best Regards,

Doug Cochran
