New biological control for knotweed introduced in the UK. A Japanese insect is joining the fight against the malacious invader. This is big news for the Oregon coast. Knotweed has spread throughout many riparian areas. Hopefully this control will be safe and effective. It would be nice to find a solution (or stop gap).
